Located in the Fukaya Ryuchin Valley, upstream of Lake Muro, this shrine is famous as one of Nara Prefecture's most secluded power spots. The enshrined deity is Takaokami-no-kami, the god of water, and since ancient times people have worshipped the dragon god here, praying for rain and for the rain to stop.
