I photograph newborns. Amazing job. But people don’t see the pictures of the babies who get life altering diagnosis or will never leave the hospital. It’s beautiful and it’s a privilege and it is heart wrenching.

when i had my angel baby the nurse was so happy giving him his first bath🥺she was smiling the whole time, god bless these nurses. She loved every bit of it & let me record her & my baby 🥹

My second baby was stillborn May 2024. I will never forget the women that took care of me over those 4 days. Every single one of them was so kind and gentle with us. I’m so grateful for people like them❤️

And thank you for everything you do💜 I delivered my girl stillborn at 36 weeks and was intubated. The nurses were sure to help my fiancé capture every moment beautifully and treated my girl so well until I woke up. I think about them so incredibly often.

As a new grad postpartum nurse you said It perfectly it’s a privilege to be there with them. I remember every angel baby I’ve had so far and will always think about them and how the mamas and families are doing. 💕

My l&d nurse killed my perfectly healthy daughter by thinking she could treat my 104 fever, chorio & pprom with Tylenol and calling it a day instead of calling a doctor in a timely manner to deliver her 💔

This may be an unimportant perspective,but my brother was a stillborn when I was seven . My parents were in the midst of grief and it was the L&D nurses that helped me work through mine . It was also an L&D nurse that helped me see my sister a year later before I was supposed to due to panic attacks. I’m in my third semester of nursing school now and hope to have the same impact you and all those nurses had on me. You are doing wonderfully! Thank you! Make sure to always take care of yourself! ❤️

L&D nurses leave the greatest impacts though! After delivering my stillborn son my nurse left me a rose and sweet note. I’ll never forget my nurse for being so kind during that very dark time, I still think about her till this day🥺
