Keep in mind, Aang's team was casually putting Sozin's comet boosted Firebenders on t-shirts with out breaking a sweat. The only threat to any of them was Azula and that's because Katara was on the sidelines while Zuko was dueling her and Azula could give 3 shits less about the honor of an Agni Kai.

Mako who has been using lightning bending since s1 conveniently forgetting to use it against a water bender who's arms are made of water. SHE ALWAYS USED HER ARMS TO BLOCK ALL THE FIRE BENDING SHOTS HE SENT AND NEVER THOUGHT OF IT ONCE😭

Lowk yeah. Ppl get on Korra’s case for losing the avatar state but the only reason Aang didn’t lose the avatar altogether was because his team wasn’t utterly useless and Katara saved him

You’d like, think the white lotus would supply a decent team. Korra legit just found some orphans off the street to help her out. Not to put them down too much, they at least showed up. I’m just surprised there weren’t other benders trained alongside Korra to help support the avatar now that I think about it.
