I'm an ex Jehovah's Witness. after I left, I almost immediately had a child. while my immediate family was actively shunning me for the crime of disagreeing with them, they immediately tried to sink their hooks into my child. now, she's 22 and I also have a 15 yr old, and they're both disgusted by the way I've been treated, and are both very skeptical

I was profoundly traumatised by my catholic upbringing. Now my son is free to choose to believe and what to believe in, if he chooses to do so. The cycle for my family ended with me.
