My mum’s cousin lived in the Barbican in the 1970s. She was a model and had s rich husband. Their apartment was so glamorous. Eveything sleek and white. It was on the 11th floor I think and I remember looking out across at the cranes with wrecking balls that were involved in the redevelopment of the area.
