As much as I am an Aemond hater, before he takes the drink he admits to the real Alicent that he killed Aegon. Unlike the hallucination where he tells her "That's terrible" when Alicent mentioned that Aegon died. He confessed to the real Alicent. ;( It doesn't excuse anything he's done, he's still a terrible brother, king, and son. But I see that and can't help but wonder how he WOULD have turned out if he was loved properly

The Love Triangle we should have gotten instead of WTF that was supposed to be between Aemond, Alys and Alicent!!!! Seriously the set up the dynamic between Aemond and Helaena so well over the last seasons and I really was hoping that his Harrenhal Arc would have been Helaena and Alys both competing over his Soul!!!
