Ex cabin manager here: one of our oldest aircraft had incident, someone has lost their l?fe onboard, later, a set of crew has reported that after service a female passenger went to the lavatory, everyone saw her entering including other passengers, then someone wanted to use the lavatory and had been waiting for long time as the occupied sign was red, they knocked but no answer, then the crew had to open the lav, but nobody was there…

former aircraft mechanic- went in everyday with the same mindset "what if my family was on this plane?" felt like I was the only one ever thinking like that with how much others would try and cut corners. every single step performed for maintenance is to be logged onto the work card, along with whatever reference manual was used. and STILL, grown men want to cut corners on things that lives literally count on being done properly.

My husband works with planes. I can comfirm there is almost always the deceased under the plane. I will also say he stresses to people to never ever fly with your pets.

I've been an Aircraft mechanic for over 20 years. it's not duct tape. we call it speed tape. it's aluminum. it's designed to withstand the speed and temperature changes with flight. typically use to cover things like missing sealant, things like that. not used to hold together any flight critical components. it's nothing to worry about. a lot of what I see people freak out about is simply just things they don't know about. also: definitely not flat
