nope. I only run Motorcraft diesel oil. that Costco oil is for gas engines, not diesel engines

I’m not a motor oil expert novice or savant of some sort. If you need that truck for your livelihood nothing that isn’t proven top notch should go into it. I may be wrong (not the first time for that) but is 20 or 30 bucks worth it? As much as you change your oil to make sure you can continue to work those dollars may add up but will it add up to a new engine?

The Kirkland diesel oil is Delo if I’m not mistaken. It says that it’s made by Chevron on the box.

never had any issues with it in any of my trucks or skid steers/excavators. I have been running it in my 07 LBZ for the past 150k miles truck tows 10-12k lbs daily, planning on using it on my 26 power stroke as well.

I see it says it is manufactured by Chevron. In the 2000’s I drove for Air Products. Chevron paid Air Products to run their oil in a truck I drove that truck for 1 million miles without doing an oil change. All they did was change the oil filters and topped it off during that time

Napa heavy duty full synthetic fleet diesel oil is my go too. I find it regularly for 20-25 a gallon cause Napa always has coupons. You can also order from Napa online for anyone who didn’t know.
