Woke up at 3am, left my house at 4am, got to the airport at 5am, flight was at 7am, 3.5 hour flight, got to the hotel at 12, couldn’t check in till 2pm, by the time we got checked in and somewhat unpacked it was pretty much 3pm. Literally 12 hours 😭 this is so correct

You are, indeed, 100% correct. Travel time is how long it takes you from getting ready to leave the house to start the travel process all the way to the point of being comfortably checked in and situated in your room. It really is 12 to 24 hours 😭😂

We went to Mallorca last week, only a 2.5hr flight. Woke up at 5am, got to airport, 3hr delay ON the plane, and then transfer time. We arrived to the hotel 13 HOURS after we woke up 😭🤣
