I taught kindergarten for 33 years. Whatever you do parents, DO NOT SAY YOU WILL MISS THEM. I repeat, SO NOT SAY YOU MISS THEM! You will create separation anxiety. Instead, tell them you can’t wait to hear all about their day. I promise you if you have a crier they will stop because kindergarten is a magical place to be!

Awww. Preschool teacher here. I know it’s hard! First week is usually the hardest. But know that it definitely does get better. Just talk to them prepare them mentally the best you can. It breaks my heart seeing these babies like this 🥺
