@thewennfamily: She won’t always reach for my hands and ask me to dance. One day, she’ll be too big for kitchen cuddles. Too cool for our little dance parties. Too grown up to giggle over absolutely nothing. And that’s why I’ve started saying “yes” to these moments more often. Because life isn’t made up of the big milestones alone. It’s made up of ordinary Tuesday mornings. Messy kitchens. Bare feet on the floor. Music playing in the background. Little hands wrapped around yours. The washing can wait. The dishes will still be there. But these moments… They’re gone before we even realise they’re becoming memories. Motherhood has taught me that time is the one thing we can never get back. So if my girls ask me to dance, I’m dancing. If they ask me to play, I’m playing. Because one day I’ll wish I could relive these ordinary moments just one more time. And I hope when they look back, they don’t remember a perfect mum. I hope they remember a happy one. 🤍 If you’re making memories with your little ones today, give them an extra cuddle from me. And if this reminded you to slow down for a moment, leave a 🤍 in the comments
