I'm free and don't need to give anyone any explanations on how I pass my time. No one nolonger imposes upon me. If I want people over I'll invite them. They come or not, their choice. Free bird.

at first, I was out and about everyday. the library, the mall, grocery store etc. I wanted to participate in community. Now, I just want everyone to leave me alone. I'd rather be around the wildlife in my yard.

I've been retired now since the end of 2024. Your day sounds like paradise and very similar to how I spend mine. If my mind does drift to being ungrateful for the ability to spend my day how I want to, I remind myself that this was always my dream retirement day when I was working and slogging away 9 to 5. That ability to get up and do what makes you happy each day is a blessing.

Well, I am retired from a job. Today I am a full time caregiver for my husband. So I cook, clean, laundry, groceries, budget and errands.

I'm retired, and I look at it like, I'm occasionally bored, but I'm bored on my own terms I'm not bored sitting in front of a computer for 10 hours a day trapped in an office, like I used to be. If I'm bored now I'll do something or take a nap. 😏
