Same thing hit me at your age. I had to step back. I always wanted more. God stopped me dead in my tracks when my 15 year old son broke his back in 2001. Doctors didn't know if he would ever walk again. All of of a sudden nothing mattered to me but him. I didn't care about my job, my home, the weekend! Nothing but him. I prayed harder than I ever have in my life for him. He walked out of the hospital after 2 surgeries and the surgeon said it was nothing short of a miracle. Point is. I reset then and there and realized God had always given me everything I needed. I have never been homeless or hungry. I'm not rich by any means. I retired a year ago and I'm at peace. I love my simple quiet life. My son? He's 40 and doing well.Stay with it son. You're going to be just fine. Trust in God and go to him. Lay whatever trials you're facing at his feet. He will take care of it. Life is good. God bless you.

I did that for 23 yrs. Now I'm a father and husband of a House-less family of 4 here in southern Illinois on family farmland. I had no choice but to quit.
