Santos feels comfortable joking at his expense, Samira feels comfortable calling him a dick to his face, he clearly fosters a pretty healthy environment, but he’s in a really bad place so he’s lashing out

Robby is a literal dream. Even if he’s yelled at all of them, he’s still checking in with them making sure everything is going smooth. Like when he asked Mel how she was feeling about her deposition. A real attending would have said “guess your fired, bye”😭

yup, as a doctor i can confirm this too. robby waking up santos with a glove was the nicest thing you would ever see a real attending do, in real life they would absolutely drag you. most of them don’t care about teaching at all, they just want you to get things done, it’s your problem if you actually know how to do it or not

I used to work with an ortho surgeon and he would throw instruments at me in clinic if I had a hard time taking out sutures and needed assistance. I’m a medical assistant, not a doctor dude I’m not digging in someone’s skin for a stitch ugh

Dude this is not true. These comments are insane lmao. I’m a ER nurse and most attendings I’ve worked with have been fine. Some better than others and I’ve definitely let an a-hole or two but overall they’re just people. I work with like 15 attendings at my current hospital and only one is really bad. But even she has some good qualities, she’s just super condescending.

MS3 here, can confirm have had suture thrown at me. heard of scalpel too, but we weren't allowed in the OR with that attending for that reason. surgeons are sadists
