Can I just say, maybe not in the diaper bag necessarily, but put an extra outfit for YOU in your car. I’ve been in a position multiple times where I could use a new outfit due to some sort of bodily fluid being on me and I wish someone told me to do this 😂

i know you didn’t ask but i put the extra outfit in a ziploc bag that way if there is a blowout or leak i can put her dirty clothes in the ziploc and it won’t get all over the stuff in my diaper bag and make things smell

I once made the mistake of only having one outfit in my diaper bag. Two blow outs later, I was leaving a restaurant with a baby only in a diaper, and me on my with a nursing bra on top. I would add more outfits and a change of outfit for you!!!

Personally I like to keep 2 burp cloths just in case, I also leave a few little baby wash cloths in case baby needs a quick lil wipe up of spit etc, and I also keep a bib for if they are having a pukey or spitting up kinda day so they don’t spit all over themselves in the car , I also keep my lil baby girl a sun hat just incase it’s a super sunny day and we end up having to be outside for a little while that way I know she will be protected from the sun since it’s SPF rated and she can’t wear sun screen yet

Definitely bring an extra outfit for you as well! My first outing with my son he spit up all over my shirt and I had a back up outfit for him, but not for me 🙃
