My dad passed away from this last year it was leading to stomach ulcers and by the time we tried to treat it. it was already stage 4. May allah make it easy on anyone else dealing with this

YALL IT HAD ME FUCKED UP AND TOO SKINNY. I have no clue how I got it but with symptoms I had , Ik I had it most of college. I lost so much weight when I didn’t have much to lose and my relationship with food tanked bc I wanted to eat so bad but couldn’t. I went to a gastro and he said so just needed to stop eating dairy when I already knew I was severely lactose and cut it out. a year later I got tested by my primary and I had it. I had an ulcer and gastritis too. I’m finally feeling like myself again bc I’m not a twig and can eat when I want. I wish I knew how to advocate for myself more back then

I got h pylori but currently on antibiotics and changing my food. I feel so much better already and will finish the whole course soon.

I wanna agree with all of this heavily but also as someone with chronic gastritis that was negative for H. Pylori it is also a symptom of chronic anxiety sometimes! I have had gastritis for 5 years (please pity me) and the only time it ever settled was when my anxiety was better. Everything she said is true and H. Plyori is so so common but if you have the symptoms and test negative it’s important to know how common gastritis is and persistent it can be !!

I got h pylori in 2023 when I went to Djibouti. They kept on telling me it “gas” and it’s normal!?! Hell nah! I was suffering for several months! But I got it treat it and so much better!

I got Silent Reflux from it, but as soon as I came I did get rid of it with three different medications but my life still hasn’t been the same since then

Also it can literally cause you to get stomach ulcers and may be a reason you have low iron!! Get on those antibiotics!!!

It was the worst EVER! I believe a got it from a friend who had the same symptoms i later got. It’s one of the hardest bacteria to treat, had to be on antibiotics 3 different times. I’m so glad it’s over cause i used to faint anywhere and every where from the pain which was so dangerous.
