it makes me think of the book / movie, the housemaid, where he made the first wife feel crazy and put the kid in the tub to look like she did it and drugged her but he was such a good narcissist that he got away with it bc she was “crazy” “medicated” “mental hospitals” when she was just suffering from postpartum and what not. it’s like Patrick watched that and then emulated it. just weird i don’t feel right about this case
