@richthames: Replying to @Penny A lot of people thought this just happened, but here’s the update… This incident at Jiffy Lube on Pat Booker Rd. in Universal City happened three years ago to the day. Someone asked me what the first video I ever got paid for was, so I reposted it to answer their question. For everyone asking what happened afterward… The police investigated themselves and cleared themselves of any wrongdoing. I’ll let y’all form your own opinions on that. As for Jiffy Lube... They issued me an apology and gave me a full refund, trying to regain my business but I stand on never giving them another penny and letting others know that they have a reputation for things like this, because I had no idea until it happened to me. The craziest part? That one video went viral on Facebook and earned me over $2,000. Looking back, I had no idea that a simple decision to hit “record” would completely change my life. That video became the beginning of my content creation journey. Today, I get paid to create content, work with brands, teach others how to monetize social media, and help people build income online… all because I decided to document what happened instead of staying silent.
