I had friends who were more into anime than I was. They gave me a long list to watch eventually told me to watch One Piece I read and watched it all. I don’t regret it for a second. I have never seen an anime or show in general that has made me laugh cry or smile more than One Piece. I understand it’s not for everyone but it’s my favorite of all time.

toei might be mid, but it does keep one piece relevant for decades, while other animes suffer from switching studios and delays, toei get the job done for nearly 30 years despite questionable pacing and direction
