Being a first born daughter is hard,we are always considerate and sacrifice a lot. I’ve mentally groomed myself to be strong and independent,learn things on my own but sometimes the weight of worrying about my family,pushing and guiding my siblings can be overwhelming in the midst of pushing through my personal challenges or problems. I’m grateful though that I have a supportive and appreciative family,my parents and siblings don’t joke with me maybe because I’m also the only girl. I just wish and pray for my siblings to stand firmly so I don’t have to worry about them anymore and I know they got my back if everywhere soft.

As a first born daughter, I'll be 30 on Monday August 10 and I just realised that I had sacrificed alot and yes I was robbed of my childhood which led to alot of mistakes and still didn't get appreciated.... Am the first born, Am over 50 and the only thing I have done is worked for my family. I don't have a child of my own, no husband, no relationship. I left my country at around 23 years. None of my sibling ever sent me even a cup of peanut. The time I got broken was when my younger sister, I sent to school from O'levels, A'Levels up to university asked me, people are doing things for their younger ones, what am I doing for mine. I built family house, i sent some of them to schools, some learnt hand work. I didn't have time for myself because of family. I learnt a lesson very late. No man ever gave me flower because I didn't have time for relationship because of family. Everyone problem, was mine. I was wrong. No one should do what I did, so that you wouldn't regret like me.
