My heart hurts because I desperately wanted her to survive this evil illness. Her spirit and attitude was remarkable. I also know she has been enduring torturous pain. Sometimes beating cancer means being free from it finally. Being free from pain, from needles, from hospitals. It means having the amazing chance to walk eternity with happiness and peace. And you, as family, have the amazing gift of saying temporary goodbye to her, not everyone has a chance to say goodbye. What a beautiful way to go to a new life, sorrounded by love, by family and friends, and knowing you left such a bright path in this world. I hope her transition to her new eternal life is peaceful for everyone. Thank you Syd, for being brave and spreading so much hope.

I used to work with syd back in high school at a local consignment shop. I don’t remember much from 10 years ago but it’s impossible to forget her absolute warmth and the radiance of happiness and light that she exuded. you could never not be happy around her. I also remember being so captivated by her beauty too! She’s so beautiful inside and out. Please give her and your family my best ❤️I will be praying for all of you
