honestly, it’s not about the pain, it’s about the experience : taking the appointment, working on the design with the artist, and the time spent at the studio, chichatting with the tattoo artist while you see the design come to life on your skin. I donkt use numbing cream, but idc if others do, but I think this "instant tatoo" is meh, bc the tattoo is instantly done, if you want tattoos for the look, I guess it’s appropriate, but for me, it’s about the whole time spent acquiring it, the emotional and time investment
