Is it bad that my bf is going in the marines and when I watch or read things about the marines I get really sad and teary eyed because of how stressful and dangerous this seems but I know why he is doing it but all I can think about is him possibly dying, getting hurt, or him getting so beat up with ptsd or something, I love him and am just scared for him, is this bad?

wish i wouldn't have fucked up as a teen an got on paper... I yearn to serve.. Just waiting to come off paper an my congressman is willing to help me get my felony waived. prayers.. itd give me something to be proud of a dad for my boys to be proud of. something for my dad to smile upon as I come from a family with extensive military background dating back before ww1.

bro I was overweight my entire life drop down from 315 lb in a year and a half to 205 at 6'3 was talking to the recruiters and was going to enlist as soon as I graduated got into a really bad car wreck fucked me up so I went and became a welder wouldn't basic anymore but I want to go to the army as a technician cuz I'm a good welder
