@thebookofwhit: Today was my final court date, and with that, a chapter of our lives officially closed. This wasn’t a decision I made lightly. It was one made out of love, protection, and putting my daughters first; just as I always have. While this was something their biological father wanted, I was the one who had to find the strength to put it into motion and carry it through. For years I’ve played both mom and dad. I’ve carried the weight, made the sacrifices, wiped the tears, celebrated every milestone, and loved them enough for two. It hasn’t been easy, but if I had to do it all over again, I would choose them every single time. My girls have always deserved stability, peace, and a life where they know they are deeply loved and fiercely protected. Today wasn’t about winning or losing; it was about giving them the future they deserve. I’m incredibly proud of myself for finding the strength to keep going, even when it was hard. To every single parent carrying the weight alone: I see you. Your sacrifices matter, and one day your children will understand just how deeply they were loved.
