You cannot ask police officers to address the crime in the neighborhood and then punish them for making stops that lead to good legitimate arrests. If a police officer stops a vehicle for suspended registration and finds the driver to be in possession of a firearm without the appropriate license to carry they should be held accountable.

Every new tactic and piece of equipment should be put before a constitutional judge to confirm it isn't violating constitutional protections. The constitution does not even factor in on police policies.

So they use valid probable cause to pull over a vehicle and find more probable cause for the reason of the search which sometimes lead to bigger crimes being stopped and this is a problem. So if cops are reactive it’s bad and when they are being pro active they’re also bad. Sheesh……
