I just quit after 21 years because Starbucks is an actual joke. I loved Starbucks and everything they stood for. Burrito boy is really doing a number on the company.

the menu is too oversaturated. dubai, unicorn, smores, orange,lavender,spirulina. they haven’t brought these things for years and now it seems like a last ditch effort

I am so annoyed!!!And there has been some shady stuff happening here. It’s opened enrollment and I login and select a plan…the same plan for the last 5 years…it has gone up in price by $55 a paycheck AND is going to stop covering my medication that I have been on for a couple years now. UGH!! Make that make sense. Premiums go up but you take away coverage. 🤦🏽♀️

Oh we’ve had 11 baristas and two shifts quit, step/down, transfer, and go on leave in FOUR MONTHS at my store alone and we’re the busiest in the district. Brian is trying to squeeze blood from a stone before he bounces. Store closures will probably happen around mid September after they cut all the hours after the PSL launch but before Christmas drinks in November

Don’t even get me started on the Tarbucks side of things too. They laid of every district manager role on the target/kroger side of things. Target is also slowly getting rid of the Starbucks manager roll, so over half of these tarbucks stores have NO IDEA what they are doing. With how Starbucks is running things, I don’t see the company moving forward at all

I work at a new construction store we haven’t even had our one year yet and we will only have about 6 original partners left. We’ve lost a shift already and keep losing everyone we hire and train. Plagued by call offs it’s a nightmare.

yup, knew a CL for a couple of years who was hands-down the best Starbucks manager I ever met. Should've been promoted to DM, did multiple TLA's, and she was always effing dual managing. She was a huge loss to the entire district. That was my deciding factor in return returning from my LOA or not.😂

It’s crazy honestly what the company has become… my husband and I worked for Starbucks for years at all different levels and I had to quit because of how crazy things were getting and he stepped down from being a manager because of all the craziness and unrealistic expectations the higher-ups required. The company used to be great to work for and now I would literally never work there again.

i just started back at starbucks for a second time about a month ago and i’m already about to leave. our manager is on leave (for a definitely fake reason) another store manager is somehow being forced to manage multiple stores by herself so we NEVER have a manager at the store, and we are terminally short staffed. it’s actual insanity
