@upgradedvacation: Most people think sound at night, beach during the day. We do the opposite, and here’s why. Golden hour on the sound is genuinely beautiful, so it’s worth hitting first before you head to the beach. But once the sun goes down it gets super buggy out there, so we don’t stick around for it. The beach at night is where it’s at instead. Light sweatshirt on, wind picking up, and nothing beats collecting seashells and spotting crabs in the dark. Bring a flashlight and shine it on them, they scurry off in the funniest way. Same 10 minute drive, completely different vibe once the sun sets.
