@bristexastails: Today was bath day for Mesa! 🛁 I have bathed a few foster dogs on their first day when they really needed it but with Mesa I wanted to wait and get her checked by the vet first to make sure everything looked okay before putting her through anything extra. She has little wounds and scabs all over her body that look like old bite marks. I don’t know exactly what she’s been through but I’m hopeful that with good food time and love they’ll heal. The piggy pajamas didn’t fit but the breakfast food pajamas did 🍳😊. Since she has so little body fat pajamas help keep her warm after a bath. She’s doing well on her feeding schedule so far and we’re working through a little separation anxiety.
