Do you think the fire will be out next week? My community is hopeful but I know the fire has to basically put itself out when it uses up all of its fuel and it dies out naturally. Is this accurate? I want to learn but all anyone is telling me is I should already know more or I need to be more appreciate rather than thinking outside of just needing all the resources in the country and being so scared and thankful. I want to learn.

Could you explain for the community what it takes behind the scenes to turn those holding lines into official containment percentages?

yeeeaaahhh some people "see" nevada and think "they can just walk/drive over there, theres no trees" correct, theres no trees. what there IS is boulders, sagebrush the size of a mini van and cliffs you cant see. thank you all for everything you've been doing to save our mountains
