It’s been like 20 years since I’ve seen my grandpa. My dad got deported when I was 5 and I’m 23. I have an entire family in Mexico. One day last year I got to FaceTime my dad. My grandpa cried so so soooo hard when he saw us kids on FaceTime. I’ve never had anyone cry the way he’s cried for us. He says we were so beautiful. That he misses us children that he one day got to see in Mexico very very long ago. I wish I had money to go see my family. Before any of them pass away. I’m afraid I won’t be able to accomplish that. Money is way too tight .

My grandpa didn’t recognize my dad cuz we didn’t FaceTime with him much and hadn’t seen him since 2019. It was amazing seeing him again and seeing how happy both my dad and grandpa were seeing one another again. I hope to cherish the memories I have with them forever
