@scotthermanfitness: How does a “fitness influencer” get a simple exercise like a Shoulder Press THIS WRONG? This generation is cooked 👨🍳 #onlinecoach #Fitness #fitnesstips #workoutmotivation #gymtips
Extremely weird to shame another fitness creator. Just make your own videos without putting other people down 👍

You can see who actually has a better physique, and has better form. Dude is a hater! Though he makes a good point about your breathing, the form was good and progressive overload 75 degree angle is ideal for me anyway.

An incline is definitely the best way to hit shoulder press

Anterior delts is the goal of the shoulder Press. So you just give him the point. 🙄

Overhead press is a terrible exercise for rear delts. Also, if you want a stronger core, do core exercises. Making the exercise more stable doesn’t make it “easier” It’s just putting more emphasis on the muscle you’re trying to target

"bringing more anterior delt" yes that's the purpose of a shoulder press

Almost all of the bodybuilding world does a dumbbell press on a bench with a high incline, not completely upright. 60 - 75 degree incline will work the front delts just fine and will allow better weights to be used as well. The guy had valid points and I agree with him.

Nope...
He is right.
60 - 70 degree incline is recommended.

Disagree. Shoulder press is for front delts. Sitting straight up with flared elbows is a recipe for shoulder problems.

They're not going to like this one. Tiktok has been turning the shoulder press into the super incline press for years.

the problem is... why would i want to hit my rear delts on a shoulder press? if i want to hit it i would rather do a reverse pec dec instead. thats just a stupid point to make. anyway do whats best for you not what the internet told you, ive been running my shoulder press on a 75° incline for the past 5 months and its been amazing but it might not be the same for other people and that's that

The point of a shoulder press is to work your anterior delts btw you can’t work your posterior delts on a shoulder press
