It is amazing that the awareness of what Gifts we receive in the form of our children is growing. I myself grew up in a home (1970's) where our presence as kids was dishonored continuously, and our worth was only accepted is we worked hard. I spent as much time as I could engaging with my kids, but sadly their dad left and that has brought up issues for them bow in their late 20's and early thirties, regarding relationships. They are dealing with it. But the real, involved presence of a father would have maybe prevented that. Being a parent is an assignment from God that we have agreed to. It is important to treat it with more reverence than a job.

Absolute true and i didn’t have my mother or father there through my life , i lived everyday with my children and made sure i was always there and im still even though they are adults . Im checking in or being there when they need

I assessed my parenting and I was bad, hurt people hurt people and instead of giving I seem to have been taking alot to. no ones fault though, my path was and and I have begun to learn which can only end well 👑
