There is also the risk of giving someone stds. It’s the worst betrayal someone can do bc it’s not just one lie. It’s multiple lies day after day that become unraveled once you find out you have been cheated on. It’s consuming. You are 100% right.

It has been wild to the attempts to minimize or normalize cheating and betrayal over the last few years. By betraying someone’s trust you are inflicting enormous, sometimes irreparable harm. There is no reasoning or justification that ever makes that acceptable.
