I only gave my youngest a prepaid phone with 200 minutes ONLY, at 13 for cheer practice, incase it ran longer, or she missed the bus and I needed to pick her up. Otherwise, she didn't have one until 15. Great parenting with your kids!

I’ve got 3 going to school this year and my mama heart is not ready for my 4 year old to start pre-K. I wish I could be there to watch her leave for her first day however I will be at work at another school so my friend will be taking all the pictures and crying for me

As a nanny, parents thought I was crazy for letting babies make decisions. The meltdowns at meal time completely disappeared when I let them choose their bib or which fruit they wanted. Kids get so little say in what happens to them, imagine how frustrating it is!!

Super curious in the age of technology that we live in, how do your kids listen to music? My kiddo loves his music, and he listens to it on his tablet, but if your kids don’t have a tablet to use, what do they use? Please tell me you have cd players for them! That’d be so awesome, and in retrospect, something I wish I had kept around for my boy!

I agree with everything you said except waking a child up because the other child woke up that just seems bad for the child. I have an extreme sleeping phobia and I believe it’s because I shared rooms with my siblings and they would wake me up at night and then I couldn’t get back to sleep.
