The BEST breakup advice I ever got was to do as many brand new things as possible. This allows your brain to actually create new neural pathways and break old loops ❤️‍🩹 I did totally new stuff like baking (was never a baker) horseback riding, and traveled a lot. It helped me ease the pain sm. You got this!!!

i was dumped in a text in my last relationship & knew it was going to take awhile before i could find myself again. i forced myself to not put time constraints so i wouldn’t feel pressured in case i didn’t meet them, but looking back: 1 month mark i was able to continuously do things for myself, 3 month mark i felt content with myself, 6 month mark i allowed myself to try to put myself out there with no pressure & 1 year later i found my person by chance literally walking outside my college dorm building. we’ve been together 4+ years & we’re engaged now!! i’ve been a fan of your content for years & i’ve also thought about going back to school for social work! sending you a hug 🫂 & know that we’re cheering you on during all the seasons of life 🩷
