Hot take, but I think it should be illegal to have your dog off leash if you’re not on private property or in designated areas. Like you should be fined. I’m a dog owner with dogs that could go unleashed but it’s not safe and not respectful to other dog owners. Especially when not all dog owners are dog trainers or have the same standards for dog care

Well behaved, well tempered dogs arent a problem when off leash. I have a neighbor who walks his two labs off leash all the time, there has never been an issue and they are super friendly.
