I don't agree with the reflection one cause that would mean she just randomly sees her reflection in his eyes cause she is literally obsessed and always starring into them. I find it more interesting that she is always fighting to get out. In certain scenes you can tell Nikki is more tonedeaf and it's played like she is just obviously "possessed" but to me it's that she is fighting it so hard that she gets states of being both at once where she is just internally fighting.... like whenever they make love she isn't even into it and I think it's cause it's Nikki fighting to be present but the possession is also and so it's a weird play where she just accepts it and doesn't wanna ruin his moment. She only speaks in her sleep because she knows the other can't control it and in the few moments Nikki takes over and tries to off herself it's cause she knows through her fighting to be present the whole movie that she only will get these brief moments whenever she can do it
