This, people, is why you need to fully appreciate everything you have. You truly never know when you'll lose it. Hopefully there is or will be some way to regain sense of smell though

Hey I did too, I crashed my motorcycle at 140 and got ran over by a semi. I can’t smell for about two years so far and my memory issues are getting better but used to be crazyyyy bad. The smell comes back I promise it just takes a long ass time and ofc everyone is different but it’ll come back fully at some point. Every now and then I catch a sniff of redbull and it makes me so happy to smell even just something like that 🤣

My dad had a TBI when I was little and permanently lost his sense of smell (so then also mostly taste) and lemme tell you. He was the most SPECTACULAR cook. His food really had the boldest and best flavor. I have a lifelong love of spicy food because of it. Still an incredible foodie even without the delicate smells…Sending you all the love and healing energy. Hopefully it inproves soon!
