The funniest thing is that most people don’t realize Aang used everything his masters taught him during his fight with Ozai. He relied on Katara’s skill and adaptability, Zuko’s fierce firebending, roaring like a dragon, and Toph’s lesson to wait, listen, and feel. He never underestimated the strength or wisdom of his masters, even though they were also his friends. He trusted their instincts and applied every lesson they taught him. That’s what Korra lacks. She often struggles to listen, prefers to rely on her own strength, and doesn’t always embrace teamwork. Aang’s greatest strength wasn’t just his bending, it was his humility and his willingness to learn from others.

I swear Korra never even strategically plans out what she’s gonna do. She lost to Amon and lost to most of her opponents. She got knocked down a lot more than Aang. He was also holding back a lot when fighting. And, she also severed the relationship to the other avatars. She also opened up the portal to the spirit world that the new avatar will have to close up.
