It’s exhausting isn’t it??? My husbands ex is currently on a “she does not belong on any school or medical paperwork” Uhmmm IF I’m taking kids to appointments or IF I’m having to pick them up IF she can’t or doesn’t want to do parent on that day - I have to be on paperwork 🙄 obviously not as legal parent or main contact. She doesn’t seem to understand that 🤔

This is crazy to me. I’m a baby mama, baby daddy is married and I care more about our kid being kind and respectful to her than I do his dad? Like… tf? She’s kind to him, gave him something I was unwilling to (siblings) and takes him to do stuff that’s solely because he’s interested in it. Sometimes when our kid is at my house, she brings his brothers and donuts and they eat and hang out on our porch. If he wanted to call her mom, it wouldn’t bother me one bit. One more person to love and cherish my favorite person? Yes please.

my 5yo and I recently discussed step parents for the first time, as his dad and I are each in our own respective serious relationships for the first time since our divorce. He said “woah so i get 2 dads AND 2 moms?!” and I said “You’ll get more grandparents too! you are so lucky to have so many people who love you so much!” — if the child is safe and cared for, it should be that simple.

Mine would always say I couldn’t understand because I wasn’t a mom. I wouldn’t even be in the conversation, she would just constantly swear it was me texting her and not my husband 😂 it was always him. Now that I have my son it’s, when he’s older I’ll understand. 😂

I will never understand! My child’s stepmother is a GOD SEND. I love her so much and have from the day I met her. She treats my son exactly as she does her own and loves him the same too. Who wouldn’t want that??
