I had already done some research about this series, and I found out that Prince Paribatra (Prince Tin) and Prayoon Pamornmontri (Phob) didn't actually have a romantic relationship in real life. They were simply very close and trusted each other deeply. Prince Paribatra had supported Prayoon since he was young, so they shared a strong bond based on trust and respect. When Prince Paribatra (Prince Tin) saw Prayoon (Phob) standing on the opposite side during the 1932 revolution, he was deeply heartbroken because someone he had trusted and cared for was now with the revolutionaries. After that, they went their separate ways and never truly reunited. Prince Paribatra (Prince Tin) later went into exile in Indonesia, while Prayoon (Phob) remained in Thailand and continued serving under the new government. The romance between Prince Tin and Phob is fictional and was added only for the drama.

I never thought a bl series would bring me to such an interesting piece of history! Thank you! I visited Thailand a few months ago, and I loved it a lot, the people that I met were wonderful, but I could never gather the courage to ask about their views on the royal family (the princess passed away while I was there and I was mesmerized by the amount of shrines directed to her and the queen, seeing people on their knees praying on the shrines was something I was surprised by) EOH is slowly becoming my fav bl of all times 🖤

what’s more surprising is that pridi banomyong, one of the the key members of khana ratsadon, founded thammasat university, tha same university that inn, the actor who plays as phob, graduated from. moreover, as seen in the show, phob and tinn attended the same school, the civil service school, which was founded by king rama v and later became chulalongkorn university, the same university where ongsa, the actor who plays as tinn, is currently studying in as well.. it was all meant to be ig 😭😭
