yep the same religion where a wife of a man was burned alive bcz her husband died 💀, yeah they both were killed but if the women died first then the man could just marry another women 💀 ( in Hindu culture btw before the British came and banned it )

As a Pakistani Muslim, I find Hinduism really fascinating. Regarding the safety of women in India, it really has nothing to do with religion. Hinduism portrays women as fierce, strong and deeply important. If individual men choose to do the opposite we shouldn't blame the faith itself

So why was there a Hindu ritual which meant when the husband died at got cremated, the widow had to aswell meaning they got burned alive. Guru Nanak dev ji saw this and stopped it.
