People do not care. They will make your life a living hell and treat you like a garbage. Then move with their lives feeling no remorse and completely unaffected. You however are left trying to pick up the pieces of yourself and are never going to be the same. They get to leave the same person as before. Then you realize that you are just another victim on their list. You were nothing special. They have probably moved on to the next person. You are up overthinking about it at night but they are generally losing no sleep at night over the pain they have caused you. You’re not even in their mind anymore. Thats the worse part that they were not even affected by how they treated you. That there is nothing you could have done but you still wish you could go back and change what happened and go back to your former self. Then it hits you that you didn’t do anything to them it’s just the kind of person they were and you just happened to be their victim. Whatever they saw in you as weak, pathetic, weird made them single you out and that fucks you up. That they just straight up hated you and wanted to fuck with you. You don’t know who you hate more them or yourself for being the target. Maybe if you were different they wouldn’t have chosen you. If they were given the same opportunity they would do it again because people generally don’t care.

Almost 3 years since I lost that girl, She took the first step towards me, to finally leave and abandon me with the love I had for her, I cared so much for her.. I never again will I sacrifice so much for a person, never again. If you’re naively willing to sacrifice everything for anyone don’t do it or you’ll end up like me.
