@maxandwell_: The number one thing I wish I could tell myself back when I first went solo: You may be a “solo” esthetician… but that doesn’t mean you can do it alone. Being solo can feel VERY isolating if you let it. I had to learn to let people into my business (which I hate doing) and rely on others to pick up where I couldn’t. Delegation is something I struggle with and that held me back for a really long time. This can look like hiring help, relying on family/friends, or even just joining support groups. My esthetician Facebook groups have connected me with some of my best friends in this industry! It’s so helpful to feel like you have people you can talk and ask questions with. If you’re thinking of going solo, I wish you all the good fortune and I hope you remember this post on the days that feel lonely and know that being “solo”doesn’t mean you need to be alone. 🫶🏻 #esthetician #soloesthetician #estheticianlife #estheticiantips
If only I had people..that was my biggest mistake in becoming an esthetician. I did not realize my skill and ability means nothing if you can’t find reliable clients..that’s my struggle. Nothing works.
