Berdly was almost instantly versed on Dark World mechanics within the first hour of of him being in one, his first ever fight was a 1v3 against the Fun Gang and he was STILL HOLDING HIS OWN. He was a boss not once, not twice, but three times in the same chapter, that’s crazy. Berdly has the highest HP and stats compared to any of the other Lightners and has some pretty strong Magic based on what we’ve seen in chapter 2. In the Weird Route, Berdly immediately drops his genius persona and tries to help Noelle on even the tiniest hint that Kris may be hurting her, and his bullet patterns there are INSANE for someone’s first time in a Dark World. Berdly is the goat, I hope he has at least SOME importance in chapter 6 because I felt robbed that we only got one Berdly interaction during the festival 😭
