I've been in the psych ward a few times and it was actually pretty common for people to end up there after reading the Bible. one guy told me that he read the Bible and now God speaks to him through the holes in his crocs. another person said God told them to run into traffic so they could preach to drivers. religion can lead some people mental breakdowns
