been a hardcore sevenfold fan since I was like 8 years old. finally saw them live last year and (no I don't do any of this block chain stuff) yes it was super expensive. but the best fucking experience I've ever had music wise. so for them to try to give their fans better connections and experiences is amazing because the experience is already fucking killer

Atreyu has something like this with Graveheartssociety.io I've been an Atreyu fan for 20+ years and the fan experience has only improved in recent years. Brandon goes live on Tiktok a lot. How lucky are we to get to actually interact with our favorite artists

not going to lie when Matt came out here saying he was going to start doing all this other third-party stuff and putting wireless tags in the merchandise and nfts and stuff and all that. I thought it was a bit cuckoo. but at the end of the day they've created a direct to fan experience that rewards fans with priority to their one-on-one experiences with the band. they've created a way to circumvent scammers and resellers and make sure that they remain attainable to the fans and that is impressive.

At this point bands don’t need record labels anymore. Technology has pretty much made that irrelevant. All they need is a good manager to deal with all that. Recording is cheap. Marketing can be done without a giant company. Independent artist can upload things to the streaming platforms. The only reason record labels used to be there is because recording was expensive as hell , they needed to make CDs, etc
