They are not standing in the heat for hours. They come out for maybe 15 20 minutes and don’t come back out again for at least an hour or longer. There are multiple guys alternating the characters. So I doubt it was heat exhaustion.

From someone who has done this yes it does get very hot quickly. We are only out there for about 30 minutes but with the layers we have to wear plus the armor and stilts it gets to be a lot. Please to be mean about this kind of situation because being a stilts walker and having to be characters like this is very hard.
