Nahh champ, you’re using the manipulative tactics, it’s not fear, it’s just the reality and you and you alone is the sole custodian of your soul, you can choose to believe or not, going to church or choosing to serve God is not about fear but you accepting him as your Lord. You do not go to school because you’re scared of Unemployment, neither did you learn how to swim because you’re scared of Flood or water disaster. The laws are there already you can only choose to abide by it or choose your own way but trying to use fear to wash down the church beliefs and faith, nahhh it’s certainly bigger than that.

Fear has sometimes been used by religious leaders to control people, but that doesn't mean religion itself was created for that purpose. Warning people about consequences isn't automatically manipulation. You can criticize the misuse of religion without claiming that fear explains why religion exists or why people genuinely choose to practice it. As a typical African,I understand why u talk about religion being a tool Get a life and improve yourself rather than cooking up lies and blaming religion for ur poverty
