I was doing the same thing. And when I would throw up even if it was 12 hours later everything was still the way it looked when I ingested it. Never broken down. I have stomach issues as a regular everyday issue. I don’t have a gallbladder so that was eliminated. I take dexlansoprazole 30mg BID. My PA put me on that from the beginning because I was taking 90 days of carafate in 30-40 days. She was hesitant because that’s the heavy hitter ulcer wise. I continued to throw up. I gave a stool sample to test for elastase. Resulted basically negative for Fe-1. I have exocrine pancreatic insufficiency…which I’m an RN and you are a nurse as well so I don’t want to over explain 🥰 But I am now on Creon to replace my digestive enzymes because my pancreas does not secrete what I need. I take two with each meal and one with each snack. Just thought I would share my experience because stomach issues SUCK!
